The corona is the hottest part of the sun, and it goes up to 1,000,000 KELVIN silly. The surface temperature of the sun is around 5778 K (5505 °C). The first part I know, the second part is all Wiki.

It would be a nice place to have lay and have a tan.
But i can NEVER ever see anyone walking, Plus. The sun is not a solid, It is made of a gas and it is classified as a star.

Not just gas, its also made of Plasma. Its the only 100% non solid in the solar system. We have gas planets, but they also are solids.
