Hey.
I have only been here since last year, but I still have this question going through my mind.
I often check the status bar of how many people that has been active in the past 24 hours, and it often look like this: (130 users, 13 whom are invisible and 1120 guests).
Like rly, so many freaking guests? Are these the ones that are not registered here? If so, what if sinisterly had it like you needed to login or register to see the content of the site, just like hackforums have.
Wouldn't that give more activity? Or would it create to many spam accounts???

It would increase the amounts of accounts made also it could increase spammers or leachers

also, like 10 of those guests are me viewing sisterly on different computers.
also, sinisterly goes down every now and then, from what could be a ddos attack, which would explain the high amount of page views

Moving this to the suggestions section. We have not suffered many attacks recently, but we are under a large load.

I'm sorry that you have joined during a period of frequent attacks. We aren't usually down that much, but somebody definitely seems to be jealous of us! I hope you enjoy it here regardless of your experience so far!
