League of Legends on your phone - Jiggly - 06-06-2016
So, I wanted to have a way to play some form of LoL on my phone as I somehow got strangely addicted. I accidentally came across this game which is very very similar: Call of Champions
Is this just a common type of champion vs champion/turret game or is it kind of a rip off of LoL?
I'm not so clued up on different types of games so this made me curious.

I have been playing it a little, it's not bad so far. Pretty easy to play at the moment. Will see how it goes.

This looks cool, might check it out.
Also, the MOBA genre isn't exclusive to League, but it and DotA are considered the forerunners of it, so developers of other MOBAs usually get shit for ripping off one or both of those (i.e., Smite and HoTS)

It's funny because both are heavily based on previous games.

Yeah the first game was just some mod for Warcraft 3 iirc, so really it's the indie devs who created that mod in the first place, not any of the big companies these days...
Didn't expect much from LoL or DoTA communities, though 0.o

It's a cute rendition of a MOBA game...I think I'd bore of it quite easily b/c it's a mobile game, but it's fun nonetheless. Probably play it on trains rides n' stuff

I'd never played something like this before this year but I'd be interested in trying out others too. That makes sense though.

Yeah, I've played it a little more and feel along the same lines. It's a waiting room type game. And yeah, there's similarity after similarity which is why I made this thread actually.
