Please stop quoting the original posts of threads. It's extra scrolling, for no reason. If you reply to a thread, it's assumed you're replying to the original poster.

I do agree with this, particularly when the original post Is quite lengthy.
Just a question, what If your response refers to a particular word, phrase or statement made by the OP, thereby you quote the original post In an edited and concise form to denote exactly what you're referring to?
In other words (for example), your response on It's own Is not specific enough to signify exactly which part of the original post you're addressing. I'm just asking, nothing more.

People are quoting the entire original posts, and it's obnoxious. Nobody wants to re-read the OP multiple times. If someone is referring to a particular phrase or paragraph, it's fine to quote just part of the original post.
