Because that other member didn't know how to make a suggestion with an argument, I'll do it for it.
Upgraded members after Gold don't have extra perks. Upgraded members after Gold were active enough to achieve a rank at Gold/past Gold or have donated enough to make a difference in this forum. Furthermore, a lower flood time would increase activity.
A bunch of brainless idiots have argued that spam would be the result of a lower flood time.
So...what you're telling me is...
Someone would spend over $50 on upgrades just so they could start spamming and abusing their privileges?
Wow. That makes sense to me.
The idea of a forum is based on posts. Although a bunch of you promote QUALITY over QUANTITY, I hardly see that. Because in the end, a bunch of you are making threads about how ACTIVE it's been and the member @Aeolian has been making posts that are just in mere agreement with other posts. Literally posts like "well said" or bullshit like, "I couldn't have said it better myself." and you mindless sheep think that's "high quality" and and overall positive benefactor to this forum. Remember when I did that? Yeah, that was called satire and none of you saw the problem with it until I stopped. (Actually @meow did. I think why he was so mad was that he saw me as someone who initially wasn't going to do something like that, but it was a huge contradiction to his preconception of me and the spam pissed him off. Don't know how he sees the rest of the forum. Seems like he got cancer from some members already though.) Lmfao you guys are a bunch of people who don't actually think. With few exceptions, but very few.
I used to think people on a forum wouldn't be afraid to exercise their freedom of speech and expression and would exercise intellect, but that does not appear to be the case majority of the time on here. I don't hate of here, if that's what you get from my thread. I hate the problem that none of you see exists.
I don't need your praise to survive, but a bunch of members seem to LIVE and CRAVE off compliments and positive attention. And you guys give it to them when you hear what you want to hear. Problem?
I fucking HATE that member who made the initial suggestion, but it made a good suggestion because upgraded members don't have that many distinguishable perks. As much as I hate that member, I hated the stupidity that ran rampant in that thread in the opposition of the suggestion. And to think some of that logic came from a certain individual of perceived status.

Unless someone writes a custom plugin, I don't think it's possible. By default the flood time adjustment is same for all members.

In any case, you thought that the counter argument was to make an example of those Diamonds instead of taking measures of warning them and banning them, you'd rather defend not progressing as a forum.

With an introduction of that feature, the worst that could result is a little more "spam". Without it, we still have spam either way. Your argument is irrelevant.
As soon as this thread is closed or my suggestion is denied, you as a community will have validated each and every single one of my points I've mentioned yet once again, but to no surprise.
