Source vs Global - Sirius - 02-27-2016
Which one do you prefer? CS Source or CS GO?
I personally prefer CS Source and have had many accounts. I currently own two 11-year old CSS accounts + a bit more recent one. I've had too many. I just prefer usually how the game is over there, no bullshit, no skins, no extra wasting money etc. I think it'd still remain famous if it had a "competitive" system like CS:GO. Regardless, there is much more mature users over there then CS GO, it only contains fresh CS members who never played older versions.
Surf. Deathrun. Classical maps. Awp-lego etc. Those were pretty much the best gaming era I have ever had most likely.
So, write below what you prefer and why.

Source had it's time and then some, by that I mean it's still thriving. I really enjoyed GO initially but I have dropped off and went back to the roots of CS.

I assume we all could play CSS someday. I don't have a cs 1.6 account anymore so.

Source will always be my favorite CS game. I mean, sure all of the CS games are amazing but there's just something about Source that makes it my favorite CS game. It's generally just a really, really good game.

I´ve played alot of cs1.6,cs
and cs:go. I would definitely say that CS:GO is the best one of them. CS:S was kind of bad imo.

I disagree that the only community in CSGO are players who haven't played previous ones. In fact, there were a lot of CS1.6 players who refused to play Source but love GO.
I was a diehard source fan for quite a while and refused to switch. But once I did get into it, I realized GO is a lot more fun in terms of gameplay. The shooting in GO is much more resemblant of the shooting in 1.6, whereas the shooting in source was ridiculously accurate and the hitboxes were just kind of silly. I tried playing it recently, and while the game has survived the years still looking pretty good, it's finally starting to show it's age.
Either way, I'll be happy to play. I just think we'll get a lot more users and a lot more fun out of a GO server, but that's just my opinion.
