Is abortion a right or a privilege? - Charlemagne - 02-23-2016

Is it a woman's right to do what she wants in her pregnancy, or is it a privilege that the government can remove? I am for abortion because I believe a woman should be allowed to do what she wants, but I am interested in your opinions.

Completely with you. It's ridiculous, they say "oh it's a living child in you that's murder" which is an outrageous claim, considering if the child is removed from HER body it dies.

I'm for abortion, I think if a woman gets raped and is impregnated she should have the right to get the baby aborted. It's a terrible thing to have to go through, but it's something I think women should have the right to get done.

Agree

Yeah, my thoughts were pretty much stated. Sometimes getting a baby is a mistake so it's only right for the woman to have the choice. It's hers.

Honestly a lot of women don't feel the same after that, my sister had an abortion and she tried to kill herself like 2 months later over it.

Why did she try to kill herself?

I am for "pro-choice" and personal liberty. I don't really agree with it though.

Yeah, same here.
I feel like if someone really thinks they aren't capable of it, then they shouldn't have it - though I do agree that giving it to someone who wants a child and would take care of it is a nicer alternative.

When in doubt, double out. Prevention is kinda important.
