Maybe they could be leaving for an extended leave or other reasons it's good to be informed. But I can see where they could just be doing for attention hopefully it's not for that case though and they are sincere.

In gengeral: the fucking problem is that they're acting like drama queens about leaving just to drag attention and their excuse is that RF is inactive and "going downhill", and they don't actually leave, you can see them everyday even after their leaving thread.
They don't really have a valid reason because they don't use it as an excuse for their leaving, if they want to leave for real (Which I highly doubt) they don't have to make a thread about it, just write in your bio why are you leaving and that's it, no need to pull that hard feelings card when you're not even leaving.
TL;DR
They make "goodbye" threads with shitty excuses and they don't even leave, it's pretty much getting annoying.
