Okay, this is just a little debate.
Would you rather have an apartment or a house?
I say, apartment. Well starting off you should get an apartment, the costs are less and maintenance is at a low. Getting a house right away, when you don't even really know how to finance that sort of stuff, you would be drained of all your money. I do not know, I always thought mortgage was worse than rent in a way. But yeah when you grow a little bit older and get more money, then you get a house!

If you can afford a house, get a house. It really depends how much you ave to put down as a down payment that affects your mortgage. Apartments around here are out the roof with rent for some shitty ass place, so ye. Better off getting a house if you can get friends and family to help you out with your down payment or just live at home (if you can of course) and save as much money as you can to get it.

It really depends on your financial situation. If you can afford to get a house, get a house.

Average teenager I would say apartment. I would start out small so you know your monthly outgoings and if you can afford more after figuring out your monthly spend then look for a house or a bigger apartment.

Tbh even if I had the money I would prefer an apartment, they just seem a lot easier to maintain, especially cleaning

Apartment would probably be the better option of the two for me, considering my financial situation. However, as one member said above; if you can afford a house, then buy a house.

I'd prefer an apartment. I find it easier to have just enough space for what you need, and not a huge amount of empty space, that way it will just get messy everywhere.
