Fuck Valve - Chroma - 12-26-2015 I've decided to quit playing competitive after the recent update involving the ranking system. I won five games in a row, top fragged and top scored each game, a good bit of stars as well. Didn't rank up to DMG. I then, lost two games in a row, still did fairly well but didn't win, deranked to GN3. I won a few more games after that, yet still didn't rank up. Lost three, deranked. Now, since it's easier to derank I'm getting matched with a shit ton of people deranking, so I'm getting matched with derankers every fucking game. I'm probably going to start playing something like ESEA or FaceIt, till this gets fixed at least. If anybody else can agree tell me cause I hope I'm not the only one with this fucking issue. What is Valve doing to this fucking game, it started going downhill once the revolver update came out. RE: Fuck Valve - Red_SF - 12-26-2015 It's never been about top fragging etc to get you ranked up, but anyway play ESEA 124 tick servers are so much better then then 64 tick MM servers. RE: Fuck Valve - Lumen - 12-26-2015 Oh geesh, the community did fall over and strangle itself to death if people react like this over very small issues. The community has been like this since GO in my opinion CSS and 1.6 was so much better. It's not a small issue, more people play competitive than anything else. So, if it's much easier to derank, when the purpose of comp is to try and rank up, why wouldn't people be angry. It's about getting mvp's, I know. Hence why I mentioned that I got quite a lot of mvp's in the games I played. Hence why I said what I did. I was a part of the older CS community, I left some time before GO was released when your average CoD gamer figured out about CS and the community started decaying. I did not however, expect it to decay this much in such a short amount of time. (12-26-2015, 10:53 PM)Zeus Wrote: It's not a small issue, more people play competitive than anything else. People played competitive with the older CS games as well, the difference is that they weren't ranging kids who cried every time they didn't get what they want. If something like this happened then the majority would simply reply with; "Challenge accepted!" and go on and beat the system. CS' community has become the same as LoL and CoD's, kids who cry whenever they are faced with a challenge and just stoop to use cheats, cheap tactics or they just flat out give up and go and complain about not getting their ways. (Actually that goes for a great deal of game communities these days.) If it is much easier to de-rank, then become better and don't de-rank. Don't complain about it, complaining will do you no good and will get you nowhere. Thing is, I'm not the only person complaining about this. It's every person in the cs:go community. It's a challenge, yes. But it makes it nearly impossible to rank up when you're the only person out of a team of 5 people trying to win. I hope your not serious? It's easy to get MVP's planting/defusing the bomb alone is a MVP. If you think getting MVP's is how the ranking system works please stop playing GO until you understand how it works better. Calm down Mr. Global Elite with 40 wins. RE: Fuck Valve - Lumen - 12-26-2015 (12-26-2015, 10:51 PM)Raymond Reddington Wrote: Thing is, I'm not the only person complaining about this. You're the first I've seen and I have at least 15 friends (probably more) that are active CS:GO players and neither of those have complained. I also do follow the community as I do with most communities, and I see quite little complaint about it compared to the amount that doesn't complain. If the problem is that you don't have a team that tries to win, why not make a team? Unless its random based, then try to talk to them. (Oh right, that would be possible had it not been for the fact that the community is so terrible.) Don't blame Valve, blame the children who plays the game. |
