Which Win OS is best for you? Figure out now! - Hx0r - 10-18-2015
Hi,
ill quickly analyze Windows 7,8,10 and help you choose on for your needs.
Starting with...
Windows 7 one of the best and most stable OS ever made. Perfect for gaming, editing and heavy use. Although there is a 32-bit version for weaker PCs, I would recommend having them installed on a fairly new PC, like 2010+. It is currently the most used OS.
Windows 8/8.1 is another great OS that is a lot more lighter. Can be installed on Low end systems as well. (Consider that its also used on tablets) Not the best OS if you have a gaming PC. Win 7 overcome in this sections.
Windows 10 , The 'younger' OS in Windows family. Basically its a compination of Win 7 & Win 8 as it contains features of both. Best gaming platform by far (Directx12). Can be installed on low end PC as well as High end ones. You can also get it for free for one year threw MS site.
Conclusion: Win 7 --> medium end, high end systems
Win 8 --> Fits every syste, light, boots and doing tasks faster
Win 10 --> Same as 8 + Contains features from Win 7 that windows 8 doesnt.

Windows XP - Amazing operating system that has lasted a long time in the business sector, perhaps not so in the consumer world. Really though XP was really balanced, and ran like a well-oiled machine.
Windows 7 - Another amazing operating system. Ran well, and performance boosts were noticeable.
Windows 8.1 - The upgrade to 8, is by the far a great upgrade. 8 had a lot of confusing features, but 8.1 fixed that. I noticed 8.1's performance upgrades immediately after installing [Currently Running]
Didn't mention Vista or 10. Vista was an alright operating system, unfortunately software drivers were not being updated properly by companies and it fell behind. 10 is a shit show in my opinion. I dislike it for so many reasons.

Windows 7 used to be my favorite OS, I switched to 10 now though, design is sleek and performance is great.

Switched to Windows 10 from Windows 7 and I believe it was a great move! At first I was a bit scared of the new OS and compatibility issues but nothing has changed, it only became faster and more beautiful.
Windows Vista and Windows 8, 8.1 are the worst OSs ever made by Microsoft

I used to run 8.1 but I've switched to Kali linux on my main machine. Don't like Windows at all.

Microsoft said that Windows 10 was going to be the last Operating System, and they were going to just keep updating it. I had a large update to it quite recently that added a lot of features.
