Laughter is the best medicine. - ZherkTG - 04-19-2016 Here are ten stand-up comedies that I've really enjoyed. This list is not from best to last or last to best, I feel that all these comics are super funny and cant choose an order. Although most of these comics have more than one special I've decided to go with each of their most recent ones.
All these can be found on Netflix.
Spoiler:![]() Matt Braunger: Big Dumb Animal (2015) Between his friendly face, his relatable humor and his ability to find laughs in unexpected places (thanks in part to his comedy angels), Braunger creates a very welcoming, jovial feel throughout his latest comedy special “Big Dumb Animal.” ![]() I'm Brent Morin (2015) In a witty solo show, Brent Morin serves up infectious laughs on the agony of puberty, hot guy problems and the time a girl dumped him for a magician. ![]() Josh Blue: Sticky Change (2012) Josh Blue, winner of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" is back with his new special "Sticky Change." He turns his cerebral palsy into a hilarious standup where he cracks jokes and tells stories about everything from being a white African-American, to dealing with cabbies who think he'll pay in sticky change ![]() Bill Burr: I'm Sorry You Feel That Way (2014) Bill Burr escapes the zombie apocalypse, explores how rom-coms ruin great sex and explains how too many childhood hugs may be the downfall of man. ![]() Jim Jefferies: BARE (2014) You can't unsee this. Nothing is sacred in this show from Australian comic Jim Jefferies, whether it’s the mother of his child, auditioning disabled actors, or gun control. ![]() Tom Segura: Mostly Stories (2016) The bearded, bawdy and comically bitter Tom Segura gets real about body piercings, the "Area 51" of men's bodies, and the lie he told Mike Tyson. ![]() Bo Burnham: What. (2013) A musical stand-up comedy show by Bo Burnham, the famous internet musician. ![]() Jimmy Carr: Funny Business (2016) British comedian Jimmy Carr unleashes his deadpan delivery and wickedly funny one-liners to a sold-out audience at the UK's Hammersmith Apollo. ![]() John Mulaney: The Comeback Kid (2015) Armed with boyish charm and a sharp wit, the former "SNL" writer offers sly takes on marriage, his beef with babies and the time he met Bill Clinton. ![]() Louis C.K.: Live at the Beacon Theater Louis jokes about fatherhood, success, and flying first class at the Beacon Theater in New York. RE: Laughter is the best medicine. - typhoid - 04-20-2016 for me nothing is better than a funny meme The fact its funny doesnt make my crippling depression go away it just makes existence barable for just one fleeting moment RE: Laughter is the best medicine. - BurritoBeans - 04-20-2016 I've always loved comedy, a good joke is always nice because (at least for me) it gets me in a good mood, and sometimes it's funny to pass them on to friends and watch their reaction. A few of the comedians I like off the top of my head...
Comedy is cool stuff, I haven't seen much stand-up recently, but it's nice to watch/listen to once or twice a week to me just to cheer me up and get a good laugh. |
