Tips for a beginner? - ZherkTG - 04-16-2016 I've decided since i'm going to school for Android development, i'm going to start learning C++ on my own time. My question is if anyone has any tips for me? Tips, Books, Videos, Articles. ect. anything would be great. Thank you. RE: Tips for a beginner? - Aeolian - 04-16-2016 Calling all members from Heuristic to help you! RE: Tips for a beginner? - m0dem - 04-16-2016 Here's a site I thought was helpful. http://www.cprogramming.com/ Getting Started with C or C++ <= setting up a compiler... etc. C++ Tutorial There is also a book. (can't vouch for it though - haven't read it) http://www.cprogramming.com/c++book/?inl=hl Tip: You should be able to learn C++ completely only with free online resources. (unless you're a book person) (04-16-2016, 12:26 PM)Aeolian Wrote: Calling all members from Heuristic to help you! Thanks.

RE: Tips for a beginner? - Blue - 04-16-2016 I know this has nothing to do with C++, But it is a website me, myself found to be a nice learning experience, and found it quite fun. https://www.codecademy.com/learn RE: Tips for a beginner? - PLX-2M - 04-16-2016 FREE Udemy C++ video courses: Title: C++, Short and Sweet, Part 1 Description: A first course on C++ based on the book Accelerated C++. Maybe its just me though. http://faculty.euc.ac.cy/scharalambous/csc132/books/c++_book%201.pdf - C++ primer, this is a really good book for beginning too. Good luck with learning c++, it does take some patience but if your determined then im sure its not an issue. http://www.coffeereview.com/ if you like coffee
