When you're gaming and there's achievements/trophies that are available, do you usually go for them? I used to go for trophies and I tried to platinum every game I had a few years ago, but I stopped about a year ago. When it comes to these virtual awards, what do you do?

I never try for achievements unless it's a ridiculously easy one like doing a double jump 5 times or something.

I think a lot of the 360 achievements are pretty fun so I sometimes look through them and see what I can do, and try to do it. If I really loved the game and already beat it - I might play through it a few more times to get the achievements :r I've never really cared about the PS3 trophies though.

Yeah, I like achievements and I do go for them quite often. I quite like them because they add to an all time gamer score and sort of gives you something out of the game after you've stopped playing lol.

I used to play for trophies as I wanted to try achieve a Platinum Trophy till I realised all the games I have take a lot of hours to get Platinum...

yup i only play for trophies i am a 100% Trophy Hunter, only level 13 though hoping to achieve 20 in a year or so. i usually go for easy ones the hardest trophies i try to earn at first but if i cant earn it ill look at videos

I have to admit Sony's trophies actually seem to be a lot cooler than gamerscore and that's coming from a biased xbox 360 fan haha.

Whenever I get a new game, I always say that I'm going to get the platinum trophy for this game, but I always end up stop playing the game before that happens unfortunately. I will eventually go back to some of the games I've played and try to get the trophies though. If only I had more time!

Poor excuse to give games replayability. Unless it unlocks new features in the game or upgrades you etc no I don't go for an in game accomplishment system though if I got nothing to do I may try to get some.
