Operating Systems - Yung Lean - 01-19-2016 So which operating system you prefer and why? Forgot to Include MAC OS so updated thread. Would've included Windows XP (Which is all times best but sadly isn't supported anymore) and Windows Vista but it's old talk so left them out. RE: Operating Systems - Pirate - 01-19-2016 Windows 7. I regret moving to Ubuntu. It's a piece of shit RE: Operating Systems - Hoax - 01-19-2016 Currently using Windows 8.1. But I am thinking of upgrading to Windows 10. Anyways gotta agree it was best OS ever made by Microsoft. If it was still supported would bravely use it. (01-19-2016, 06:25 PM)Satanic Wrote: Windows 7. Probably many of Microsoft OS users are staying with Windows 7 anyways I have used Ubuntu before and it wasn't that bad some stuff use to get me pissed off but isn't that bad as you made it sound. Al thought I use Elementary OS as dual boot and don't complain at all. (01-19-2016, 06:54 PM)Hoax Wrote: Currently using Windows 8.1. But I am thinking of upgrading to Windows 10. Currently running Windows 10 but thinking of moving back to Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 since Windows 10 still suck at some things and its ultra spying and permissions stuff that gets me pissed off right quick. I have Windows 8 and had to fuck with it for ages to get my wireless adapter to work properly (had to eventually just tweak my router after 3 days of scouring google), and since I got the computer I've never once used any of the features that makes it unique from Windows 7 minus a small one here or there. Plus, I prefer Windows plainly because of the fact that I like gaming, which monopolizes almost all old + some new games. Comparing some games on Windows 10 and Windows 7 Win 10 can't handle games for shit as Windows 7 can. When Windows 7 came out my thought was that it's a mix of Windows XP ( SYSTEM ) and Vista ( Design ) that it was running so smooth. Pretty sure most of the people thought that. The mix of the two makes sense - Windows XP was stable with an out dated look, while Vista was littered with bugs but looked nice for the time. |
