So I've made this thread, if you change your username you should (out of courtesy) post here that way people will know who you were / are that way nobody gets confused as this has been mentioned before in the past!

I agree.
It's somewhat annoying trying to figure out who a member Is after a username change. To avoid this thread from being buried, It's great that you've stickied It. It'll now serve as a gentle reminder.

Honestly I hate features like that, if somebody changes their name to get away from a certain handle the feature would certainly be detrimental to that. If somebody is trying to separate themselves from a certain name but stll has it available in a username history it certainly makes doxing easier.

Very valid point, this list at least is purely optional.
