PC gaming obsolete? - Ethodax - 02-06-2013 I am and always have been a console gamer. I am wondering from you PC gamers out there if you thing PC gaming is better than any other gaming platform. If it is please express your reasons! RE: PC gaming obsolete? - Wonders - 02-06-2013 For FPS games I think PC is definitely better. Being able to use a mouse and have more precise aiming helps a ton. For other games though, such as sport games for example, console is 100% better. RE: PC gaming obsolete? - Ethodax - 02-06-2013 I can understand the idea of having better aim, but is the console better for every tour of game that isn't FPS? RE: PC gaming obsolete? - ✧Sirius Paradox✧ - 02-07-2013 PC is much better. The graphics are better, you can get fantastic mods, and it's just generally great. I moved from Xbox 360 to PC, and it's a lot better. Cheaper games too. RE: PC gaming obsolete? - Sir_CnC - 02-09-2013 PC is only better as there are better graphics depending on the computer you buy. Most gaming companies are now starting to make games with better graphics on the PC. Although I'll admit if you want to play online, console is a better choice. PC still has a large base of multiplayer people but games such as Call of Duty will die once the new one is out and that's how it is. Games such as Counter Strike on the other hand have a great online community and has been active for quite some time now! The first ever Counter Strike is the most played out of the franchise. So in the end, if you want a game with a bigger online community, go Console. If you love your graphics and singleplayer, go with a PC. Plus PC is cheaper, the games are and with a PC, you can also do your browsing and do a whole heap of other things on a PC that a console can't do. It's worth the money if you get a really expensive one. RE: PC gaming obsolete? - Simba - 02-09-2013 I've been a console gamer myself, but as I'm simply a MMORPG addict, and the consoles doesn't offer that kind of experience I surely pick the PC over any consoles. Saying that graphics are better on the consoles rather than on the PC is something I'd care the least about. Gameplay is something that interests me, not graphics.
RE: PC gaming obsolete? - Tando - 02-09-2013 PC gaming is far from obsolete. With games like Runescape, WoW, League of Legends, Maple Sotry, the PC is packed with players. Of course the gaming experience is just as good as your computer's specs are, which can be very costly. PCs literally support every game. Both consoles and PC have my vote. RE: PC gaming obsolete? - Jessie Andrews - 02-09-2013 PC gaming is more unique if you ask me. Sure, God of War and other games are really sweet but did you ever find a store that had a Slenderman game? Nope. I don't think you have. There are tons of mini-games that you can play via the computer that are pretty cool, like SCP-057 for instance. RE: PC gaming obsolete? - Lord Karnage - 02-10-2013 Console gaming is great if you just want just put in the disk and play. PC gaming is the same experience but can be a greater hassle sometimes. With mods PC gaming can be even better. Though with the popularity of Steam and digital downloads it is making PC gaming shit. Along with the FPS genre PC gaming is also much better than consoles for the RTS genre games. This includes games such as Warcraft, Startcraft and the Command and Conquer series. Imagine playing those games on a console. I remember doing so back then with the Nindendo 64 and it wasn't a pleasant experience. Mouse and keyboard simply has greater precision. This is why FPS games on the console always has an auto aim feature to assist the players. |
