Oct 21st TalkTalk Breach - BreShiE - 10-23-2015 This has been gavering quite the media hype in the recent week. There's a lot of scepticism surrounding this. The breach has been confirmed and a Russian jihadist group has claimed responsibility, not that many people believe them haha. The original pastebin link: http://pastebin.com/HHT4BxJA Some media coverage: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/talktalk-cyber-attack-russia-based-islamic-jihadists-claim-responsibility-for-hack-a6705366.html http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/11949468/TalkTalk-phone-network-hit-by-significant-cyber-attack.html TalkTalk official statement: http://m.help.talktalk.co.uk/oct22incident Sucks for me, I'm with TalkTalk. Time to give them a ring to see what they have to say for themselves. RE: Oct 20th TalkTalk Breach - Eclipse - 10-23-2015 Yeah I'm on TalkTalk too. Ridiculous name. Someone asked if I wanted to help breach an ISP (w/ 43m users) yesterday and I declined. Coincidence? Spoiler:illegal & immoral RE: Oct 21st TalkTalk Breach - Jiggly - 10-24-2015 (10-23-2015, 11:05 PM)Oni Wrote: Never heard of TalkTalk. Ridiculous name. My landlord also uses them for our internet >.> I agree, their name is quite ridiculous in my opinion but I suppose it's very easy to remember. Must be for simple people. They made the mistake of admitting that some of the data MAY have not been encrypted. Which is extremely retarded if true. RE: Oct 21st TalkTalk Breach - Sans - 12-03-2015 typical, relying on children to get data you want. * you feel your sins crawling on your back RE: Oct 21st TalkTalk Breach - BreShiE - 12-14-2015 (12-03-2015, 07:48 PM)Sans Wrote: typical, relying on children to get data you want.
