RE: I Just Reserved My Copy Of Windows 10 - Chromium - 06-01-2015 Nice, I don't have an upgrade available. Probably because I pirated win 8
RE: I Just Reserved My Copy Of Windows 10 - Oni - 06-01-2015 I have an MSDN account, so I'll have keys. Also have the Insider Preview now. RE: I Just Reserved My Copy Of Windows 10 - Cressi - 06-01-2015 I have yet to check it out, but with MSDN, few things can go wrong, right? ![]() Anyone, is it any good? Since the .iso is directly from Microsoft, everything is legit. So far Windows 10 is decent. A few nuisances, but nothing I can't get over. There are a few new features, though. RE: I Just Reserved My Copy Of Windows 10 - Cressi - 06-01-2015 (06-01-2015, 10:28 AM)Oni Wrote: I say decent, because they added very little. Well, I'll have to see how it works, then ^^ Spoiler:
By the way, love your signature quote ^^ RE: I Just Reserved My Copy Of Windows 10 - Ultimatum - 06-01-2015 Windows 10 Technical Preview was absolutely great compared to W8. It's basically W7 to Vista. Vista should have been what W7 was. Similarly, W8 should have been W10. Overall, performance should increase greatly for small tablets, and reduce resource usage, but lets hope Microsoft doesn't botch it up before the final release.
RE: I Just Reserved My Copy Of Windows 10 - mothered - 06-01-2015 That's great to know, I'm sure you'll be happy with It. When the RTM Is released, I shall customize Windows 10 and hit a clean Installation thereafter on one of my system that contains all the OEM bloatware. I'll keep the UEFI Firmware enabled (and not Install via Legacy/CSM Mode) and Secure Boot Intact, by creating a UEFI-supported OS with the EFS EFI System Partition. Why? Because I like the benefits of the GPT Partition Style, such as the support for 128 Logical Volumes and the ability to support drives larger than 2.2TB. Even better, I can convert my "data" HDD to a Dynamic Disk, thereby can create hundreds of Dynamic Volumes, hence not limited to the MBR 64 Byte Partition table with only 4 Primary partitions or 3 Primary and one Extended. Anyhow, I'm eagerly awaiting the release of Windows 10. |
