Blocking View-Source: command - Yung Lean - 04-18-2014

Hello,
So I was wondering is it possible to block View-Source: command in the browser
I can disable key short cuts and right mouse click but how about the command that can be typed in the browse field.
for example : view-source:https://www.google.com/
?

This is the dumbest request in web development.

The moment you start messing with the functionality of someones browser, you piss them off. And its useless to do so any ways. They can still save page as... go to the temp files, or download software that specifically scrapes HTML - if they really want your code.

All you're doing is pissing legitimate users off by disabling right-click - and just slowing down the people that want your code. What you're trying to do is utterly useless.

And why the fuck is your code so special any ways? Are you doing something that no one has ever done before?

Yeh!! Blocking users from viewing the source code of your HTML is very tough. There are tons of ways to view it, and few to hide it (and users find the other way in to your source). I have spent days figuring out how to hide it, but in vain.

The farthest I went was when I converted the whole website to Flash, and it cost me dear as I had compromised with SEO that way. Still the source was not 100% hidden as someone would easily extract the source files from a .swf.
