000webhost is debatable, since they got hacked a while back. Still a decent list.

Yes they are ALL in their own way good free hosts.
Hopefully someone will find it useful, what I always say to people is start to develop your website on a free host before upgrading to a paid hosting company!

As Anarchist says 000 is debatable, I say it should be off the list completely.

000webhost, is probably the worst "free host" I've ever used, they periodically "review" your website (taking it down whilst they do) that can take up to three weeks,.

Personally I think 000webhost is great and I have never had problems with it.

I would never use 000webhost for a site if I wanted it to stay up.
However it is fine for testing.
