Linux Freezes - Yung Lean - 02-10-2014

So I have switched to Linux. I use Linux Mint Distrobution I find it easy to use. But while I use it freezes I can't press on anything non of the short cuts work nothing. So I have manually reboot computer.
I have used Linux before and it use to happen as well couple of times. Is this because of the computer or something?

Sounds like an issue with the windowing system to me. Or does it sound/look like your computer is really working overtime?

Perhaps updating or changing your graphic card drivers? or maybe even try installing/using a different windowing system? check your system logs?

Can this cause the trouble because i have dual boot ?

RE: Linux Freezes - blackeagle - 02-10-2014

no im sure dual boot isn't a problem

Well if its freezing after update then something in the update went wrong lol.

I would say its hard to guess from just the symptoms. Log files would be helpful if you want to debug the problem. or upgrade/downgrade the system or change managers. I would expect its just the windowing system freezing but who knows though.
