Looks like just another hosting company thats been around about ~1 month.

But aside from that... i never trust a hosting company that doesnt understand basic terms like Bandwidth and Unlimited. If servers and networking are your business you should at least have a basic understanding of the terminology. The lack of this understanding says a lot about the business.

Hello Geoff,

I own 2 webhosting companies (if you want proof then pm me and ill pm you proof), this is just a new project of mine which i am working to run. & i resell RDPs as seen in my other thread, all in all i have experience with webhosting companies & unlimited packages, we made unlimited plans but there are TOS to follow towards the unlimited BW etc.. like no rapidleech etc... (which uses alot of bandwidth & resources)

You still dont use the terms correctly. Bandwidth, for example, is the maximum throughput or bit rate of a channel.

So in the case of this ad, you suggest that your "port" is 1 GBps (Gigabytes per second). This is what Bandwidth actually is. But this is odd. Because Ports normally come in the likes of 1 Gbps (Gigabits per second), 10 Gbps, 100 Gbps, etc. Its very odd to have an ~8 Gbps (This is what 1GBps equals) port like your ad says.

And then we get on to Unlimited. Offering unlimited Bandwidth is false advertising... because as explained the Bandwidth is still 1GBps according to your ad. But lets assume what you really mean is unlimited data transfer. This is still wrong because a 1GBps is limited to operating at a max data transfer rate of of 1GBps. Over the period of a month that can mean a lot... but there is still a maximum amount of data that can be transferred in that time period limited by the port speed.

As for unlimited everything else... well thats not really accurate either is it.

For example... your first plan offers 5GB of disk space but unlimited mysql storage space? mysql space is still limited to the size of a hard disk space somewhere even if youve changed cPanels default practice to not limit mysql disk usage to include the account limit.

and last but not least... cPanel is a brand name Web Hosting Control Panel. What is Cpanel? Your websites seem to conflict on whether your offering the cPanel branded website or a random generic "Cpanel". Does the McDonalds brand look right if someone were to start calling it mCdonalds? or feDex? cPanel is a brand. its not hard to get it right if thats what you're using.

All these discrepancies hardly inspire confidence in your service imo. It makes you look like a kid that just decided to get into webhosting. Which as far as I can tell might be the case. I can find 3 domains related to hosting and this domain and they were all registered this year.

Hello Geoff,

We have cPanel Licensed with Softaculous licensed etc.. with quick installing scripts, sorry for the error in Cpanel, The unlimited mysql relates to you being able to have unlimited databases, and the databases can fit the ammount of allocated resources of your account(s), so you cant go over the amount of space your account is allocated with.

Unlimited bandwidth is by means of you are not capped , e.g)if you reach a certain amount of bandwidth used your site wont be closed until the following month, thats what we are referring unlimited to we are not referring it to the 1Gbps line being used for the webhosting accounts/servers, i can also if i wanted have lets say a 100mbps line and called it "unlimited", because i wont close the site if it reaches a certain bandwidth usage (unless tos is breached), the speed of the sites however will be limited to the lines being used in this case 1 Gbps.

So all in all, yes we provide Unlimited packages and so far with our clients there has not been a problem as of yet with these packages, people just want to know if they are safe hosting their sites and that their site wont be closed down due to reaching bandwidth usage limit, but since they are on unlimited plan they will never reach the limit and never have their site(s) suspended (of course if they breach tos they will get it suspended).

Also we have multiple servers and this server we are working on is new, so thats why there is not alot of website(s) hosted on it, it is fresh and ready to have clients on it Smile.

Regards,
Frozen Smile

Regardless of what you "mean"... you are using the terms incorrectly. You cant tell someone that they have unlimited mysql space and then limit it to their 5gb plan. That is in no way unlimited mysql space.

And you still dont get what bandwidth means. How can you have uncapped bandwidth if your bandwidth is capped at 1gbps. If you had a 100gbps line speed your bandwidth would be capped at 100gbps because thats what bandwidth is. Bandwidth is the maximum bit rate a line is capable of.

What you are listing is the amount of data they are permitted to transfer over the line per month. That is not bandwidth.

RE: HostThemAll - Shared webhosting from $0.95/m, OwnCloud shared/reseller $1.95/m + VPS - Frozen_Solid - 01-02-2014

In my plans i said Unlimited Databases, Not unlimited Database space as you can see:
[Image: Capture.png] (you can have unlimited db to the ammount of space used, this term is in many webhosting companies that limit disk to certain accounts.

"uncapped" is reffering to that there is no limit
"unshaped @ a certain speed" is referring to the line speed e.g) 1gbps or 100mbps (and line not being slowed down after downloading/using up certain amounts of bandwidth)[can download/use up as much bandwidth as you want at the speed specified]

So capped does not refer to a speed @ 1gbps
the lines are shaped @ 1gbps not capped @ 1gbps.
capping refers to either a closure of the acocunt or throttling of speed if certain amount of bandwidth is used, but we do not cap/throttle any accounts, they get to share the 1gbps port.
Shaping refers to throttling of speed of the line.

Within my country this is how we refer unshaped from shaped, and capped from uncapped.

Capped plans are as follows:
Basic Plan - 10GB BW
Advanced Plan - 40GB BW
Profesional Plan - 100GB BW

Uncapped plan is:
Ultimate Plan - Unlimited

Since you cannot go over the limit.

That says unlimited database size. Its what your ad links to.

But you still dont see to grasp what Bandwidth means. Bandwidth is the maximum throughput of a line expressed in a bit rate. If you have a 1gbps line, you have 1gbps of bandwdith. This is your maximum "bandwidth" available. Its also a cap. cap meaning maximum.

And 1gbps bandwidth is a cap. If a server suddenly requires bandwidth of 2gbps it cannot accommodate because there is no way for that extra 1gbps to get to the server.

bandwidth is not the amount of data that can be sent in a given time period... its the capacity/rate of speed at which data can be sent. This can be shaped or unshaped but it doesnt change the fact that bandwidth is a measurement of line capacity/transfer rate, not a measurement of the amount of data transferred in a time period.

Calling monthly data transfer limits "bandwidth" just makes you look like a noob that has no formal (or even informal) training or experience in networking. How can someone that makes obvious technical errors in their advertising be expected to maintain a quality server or network.

RE: HostThemAll - Shared webhosting from $0.95/m, OwnCloud shared/reseller $1.95/m + VPS - Frozen_Solid - 01-02-2014

Our unlimited Db space is unlimited up until your accounts resource limit. We call it Bw/month allowance, if our clients rerquire a faster line lets says 1Gbps cant handle all the clients we will join another 1gbps line, by then we will have enough clients to accomodate another line so it would not be a problem Smile

Well we have been maintaining superb quality of our network until you came and stated "How can someone that makes obvious technical errors in their advertising be expected to maintain a quality server or network. " when you have not even tried our services.

If you would like a demo feel free to contact me.

I can see what you call it. But what you are calling it and what it actually is, are two different things. Thats false advertising and misleading your customers
