HELP WITH MATH - RaccoonCity_mybb_import13707 - 11-19-2013

Hello. I might be good with computers I'm NOT good at math, at all. I would say math is the most important but still boring (I think atleast) subject.
I've got a question, does anyone know how to calculate a number like this on paper?

49 / 32, for example.

Thanks.

Thanks, but do you know any newer method, my parents told me that this is kind of old. I'm not sure though, thanks!

This is what they taught me to do and it's not so long ago.

Edit: I think it's rather good way to do such calculations without calculator.

Ha! dont feel so bad. Im 29 - back in University, and i just recently had to google/youtube how to do long division and even subtraction on paper. I always hated maths and not having done any in the last decade this had me stumped! LOL

RE: HELP WITH MATH - Psycho_Coder - 11-19-2013

@Zedex Be serious with maths from beginning if you wanna become a good programmer. To be a programmer you don't need a lot of math but to make a difference and make yourself way ahead then others maths is very very very important. You might understand why I am saying this but after 3-4 years you'll understand for sure.
