A little nervous... - The Real Slim Shady - 06-30-2013
So ive started advertising my I.T. Services again... mainly cause im short on cash and unemployed at the moment... and ive got my first client set up for tomorrow. Only thing is i dont think ive actually done any consulting like this since... oh... probably 2006 haha and even then it was usually through word of mouth or i at least casually knew the people. (Small towns).
The issues he's mentioned are laptops
- 1 has had milk spilt on the keyboard, and some of the keys no longer function. Apparently he's tried cleaning them to no avail. Ill try cleaning them if that doesnt work, order a new keyboard perhaps.
- The other he mentioned a possible virus. Didnt bother asking for symptoms as well, its a virus. So just gonna do what i do.
But still, a little nervous. So outta practice and not used to dealing with people any their hard ware any more :/

It'll go fine, I just recently purchased 4 laptops for 10 dollars a piece at a pawn shop.
They were so cheap because they didn't come with a charger so they didn't know if they worked or not.
Long story short, the worst out of the bunch became a parts pc and the other 3 now work flawlessly.

Ah never updated but things went well. fixed a few issues. ordered parts for a few others. ill go back when the parts arrive lol.
