Simple Way To Infect People With RAR Files - The Alchemist - 06-05-2013
This is a simple way of infecting your slave with a virus, trojan, worm, or any kind of malicious code.
All you need is :
- The malicious EXE.
- Winrar.
You can get winRAR from here : www.rarlab.com/download.htm
So, here are the steps :
- Install winRAR in your computer.
- Right click on your malicious EXE.
- Click on "Add to archive".
- Tick on "Create SFX archive" checkbox.
- Open the "Advanced" tab.
- Click on "SFX Options" button.
- Open the "General" tab.
- A textbox appears with "Run after extraction" written on top.
- Type the filename of your malicious EXE like this "server.exe" without quotes.
And you're done!!!
Make your slave extract the rar file that is created in his/her computer.
Make sure your slave has winrar installed in his/her computer.
To make the rar archive less suspicious, you make add some ebooks or pictures or music along with the malicious exe.
Keep infecting!!!

This is exactly why you want to avoid self-extracting archives when using P2P networks.

Is it possible to send the server.exe (the Trojan file) to our victim via email?
Because when I tried to send the file to my victim via email, the attachment was not successful an it said that the attachment has a virus and it cannot be sent. (I even tried to compress the file)
The same happens in facebook.
Plz tell me what to do. :Frown:

Protect your rar file with a password.
It will prevent detection of any malicious tool in the archive.

Can you explain the advantage in using this method and not something else ? i mean, is this methot not detected by AV or something of the kind ?

Plus what I like about it is, you dont need to make your victim double click and open your malicious server.exe or whatever you're using to infect your victim.
And, if you put a password on the RAR, most antiviruses wont be able to detect any malicious tool in it.
