What's the story behind your username? - Coder-san - 04-06-2013 There is a story behind mine. It all began when I met Sage online at NGEmu. He was a hacker and a programmer, and a member of lameForum (you know what's that). He explained about keyloggers, and I wanted to make mine. I was a beginner in VB6 with no ambition back then. But I was defiant and rigid when Sage told me to switch to VB.Net. I just wanted to use VB6. After 3-4 months of research and trial-errors, I completed my keylogger "iNV/\D3R" (yeah it's lame, but that met the standards of lameForum). I had to register there to release my tool. I didn't have a "hacker profile" yet, so I started searching for usernames not taken. I was pretty shocked to see one of the most basic username any programmer would think i.e. "Coder" available, and that was my choice. Not because I thought I was a pretty good one, but it was to suggest the people of lameForum that they're too busy looking for l33t h4x0r usernames that they miss basic ones. After HC's birth I changed my username here from "Coder" to "Coder-san" because I like Anime. ;O P.S My bio is 100% true as well RE: What's the story behind your username? - Asuna_mybb_import7736 - 04-06-2013 Well, I just love you. Simple as that.
RE: What's the story behind your username? - diana32 - 04-06-2013 It's my name and my age-that for about four days i must change into 33. RE: What's the story behind your username? - Snipa - 04-06-2013 Its about my personality, i'm quiet , don't always like to talk, i take my actions precisely and silently, and i found that Snipers are trained to be stealth, to resist, to wait ... i found that its close to what i am, i wanted to join the army, but parents and school and country problems so, i'll stick to the name only

I wasn't a hacker at all when I joined Hack Community. I just had some rough and untamed talent with computers. One fine day, when I got a chance to get my username changed, I did it. Few months ago, I wanted to start off with another username. I don't know why, I didn't find my old username as good as I wanted it to be. I used bluedog alot until I got where a point where other people were using it to so I decided to tarball and gzip it. Tada; bluedog.tar.gz RE: What's the story behind your username? - Nailo - 04-06-2013 nothing special just the tag name of a well known gamer on Combat arms (nexon company) RE: What's the story behind your username? - Linuxephus™ - 04-06-2013 Methinks I started out originally using my username some years ago when I was first introduced to the Linux Community (infer a longtime ago) after migrating from M[ostly]S[hoddy]'s Window's equipped workstation. And I'm sure as many have figured out by now, my first name is Josephus. Because of my love and knowledge of all things Linux, I replaced "Jos" with Linux, and thus the Linuxephus moniker was born. Not to mention I did indeed search high and low for weeks on end to verify the username had never been used in the entire and vast history of the World Wide Web. Alas, to this very present point in time, of all the millions, and billions, of Internet users worldwide, it remains unique unto myself alone. RE: What's the story behind your username? - Deque - 04-06-2013 It's nothing special in my case. Deque is short for double ended queue. It is a commonly used data structure. Every programmer knows what I am talking about. I chose this, because I love programming, because it is short and it is a common word that can't be searched for that easily. Try to search my nickname and all you get is about the datastructure. |
