I was just thinking, my PS2 is getting on a bit... Would it be worth investing in a PS3 now that it's successor has been announced?

I would rather recommend XBOX, A friend of mine has it. I've played on PS3 before however playing on XBOX seems to be more fun

I have an Xbox, but it has a high cost when one is attempting to save for PC upgrade parts... I don't want to leave my consoles behind, but PC is less expensive, and I've been using it longer...
I really want to play thatgamecompany's "Journey" though :huh:

PS3 is indeed better than X-Box shit. Little kids whine about PSN got hacked. Wow, that never happens to Microsoft, right..
But wait a little with buying one. PS4 are soon in the stores.

Xbox is great and I can definitely recmmend you to buy it. But I have something to say before you buy anything.
Microsoft will present and release the new Xbox 720 this year. If the roumers are correct it is going to be an awesome new console with a lot of great improvememts. So if you want to go for a Xbox wait for the new Xbox 720.
Sony has already presented the new PlayStation 4 and it's a beast. It got a massive hardware upgrade and is a really strong machine for the future. The new controller do also have a touchscreen. I will be released later this year and instead of buying the PS3 wait for the new PS4 it will indeed be worth the time.

Xbox over PS. But for now, take a chill pill and wait for PS3 and Xbox720 to come out. At least, that's what I would do, If I wasn't a bum.

Even after the PS4 and Xbox 720 come out, I would still buy a new PS3 or Xbox 360, the prices would drop dramatically.
