There is a risk but you can get a few apps to protect you such as Avast anti virus and addons detector

For iOS there's plenty of options, those two mentioned above are good but I think you have to be jailbroken in order for the apps to install using appsync. (=

Half the apps on BMA need to be cracked and there's quiet a bit of malwareso be careful what you download.

If you use Black Market Alpha on an Android phone you can get all the apps from Google store for free.

Also there is this freedom apk http://system.in-appstore.com/freedom/ which let you buy app from play store for free with a virtual card it works for everything on the market.

Id simply jailbreak it. anyone with a day and google could do it. only problem is apple pooped on us jailbreakers by removing the exploits that enabled untethered jailbreaks. so yah know. sucks to suck

Actually Freedom works only for in-game purchases.
