RE: Can hack wifi with android? - LightX - 01-05-2013 You can get Backtrack 5 and put it on your Tablet. (I think it would work on a phone but it would be TINY) Then you can use that to crack it. RE: Can hack wifi with android? - The Real Slim Shady - 01-05-2013 Ive posted this: http://www.hackcommunity.com/Thread-Android-App-dSploit before - However while i havent personally managed to get it to work, the features are pretty amazing if you do. RE: Can hack wifi with android? - hunt3r972 - 01-09-2013 Impossible ... your android device is not compatible with packet injection. RE: Can hack wifi with android? - chmod - 01-09-2013 How can you be sure I think some cards might be so going to depend from what I can gather the main issue is drivers check out this thread from xda developers http:// forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=50887 RE: Can hack wifi with android? - snowblind956 - 01-16-2013 Download the ARM version of backtrack 5. Keep in mind it's going to take a really long time to crack wpa/2 any way besides reaver (which still takes generally upwards of a few hours.) I guess this could be handy for cracking wep, but I don't know many people who still use wep. EDIT: It's technically feasible on newer android devices to plug in and install an alfa AWUS036H via host usb support and install the aircrack-ng suite on backtrack 5 ARM. that's clearing up the packet injection problems. RE: Can hack wifi with android? - Ex094 - 01-24-2013 You can also install backtrack on your Android Tablet, Here are the instructions how to do it http://back-track-linux.blogspot.com/2012/10/install-backtrack-on-android-tablet.html Enjoy! RE: Can hack wifi with android? - elektroinside - 02-11-2013 If your wireless chip can't operate in monitor mode, it's impossible. And no phone or tablet manufacturer has drivers (firmware) for this, unless somebody rewrites an existing one for your particular chip, which you will use to replace your installed driver. For example, if you have a Samsung Galaxy S2 or Nexus One, you can find more info about this here: http://bcmon.blogspot.ro/2012/09/working-monitor-mode-on-nexus-one.html?m=1 And here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1940416 About the monitor mode, here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monitor_mode |
