Laptops - Oni - 03-01-2013 So, generally laptops aren't the most powerful thing unless you have one built for gaming. Yesterday I finally received my Razer Blade and I'm pretty impressed with it as it outperforms my old Alienware M18x (which I am selling). ![]() What laptop are you guys using? RE: Laptops - Charon - 03-01-2013 I'm planning to buy a laptop soon! Mobility for the win, although I don't have too much money to buy a decent one for gaming.
RE: Laptops - Nefarious - 03-01-2013 I am using a HP Pavilion DV7
RE: Laptops - TechSaavy - 03-01-2013 I'm planning to buy HP Pavilion G6.... not really good for gaming, but it will at least run what I need, like OpenOffice, metasploit and sometimes minecraft
RE: Laptops - Ultimatum - 03-01-2013 Of course Razer Blade will outrun any other laptop on the market, at the expense of 3k USD. I don't see why gaming needs mobility, you sit down and play a game. Not move somewhere in a car then play games. I seriously miss the point of gaming laptops. Therefore, a 1k USD custom desktop is much more worth then a good looking laptop with mobility and less so of performance. RE: Laptops - Oneiiros - 03-01-2013 Anar> This laptop looks so awesome... Might trz to SE one if I can even get a serial... Or I could do some MBPRs and sell them for this, not quite sure which would be easier. Of course, due to the parts laptops use, they will cost more than a desktop. However, the Razer Blade is a very unique laptop and can without a doubt outperform other laptops with the same mobility. It's easy to bring a laptop to work/school and if you have free time it's nice to play games. I own a desktop too, but I move around a lot and the heavy laptop I had before wasn't mobile enough. I only play a few games still, but it can run the ones I do play really well. It has the mobility of a Mac and the usability of a PC. RE: Laptops - ねこまっしぐら - 03-02-2013 I have the Asus G73SW. It plays Skyrim and BF3 on high settings. And most other games I have. I hear it also plays the Crysis games at high settings. We'll see about the new one coming out. Also the best thing about it is the cooling. It's cooling is better then some computer cooling. I have the older model laptop. The new models I think sports a GTX 680. RE: Laptops - Balls - 03-02-2013 I use a shitty desktop. It can barely game. I don't really care though since I console game. RE: Laptops - Mersipp - 03-03-2013 ASUS K95VM ![]()
