It means that he didn't use any render or anything at all.Just basic photoshop.It's pretty amazing if it's been made from scratch but plz even i know that the moon is just another render.

These days it doesn't really matter if its made from the "scratch" aslong the output is nice..
i'am not going to choose sides but that video from networkZombie is clearly proofing that he actually did made it as said,
discussing this subject futher would rather be useless and turning into more hate wich is unnecessary and not solving anything.
