MatrixCode Image-based Encoding

First of all this is not an Image-codec or a new Image-type. It is a Text-encoding in the form of an image.
I call this MatrixCode because it reminds me of the display in the monitors in the Movie the name is derived from.

NOTE:
  • MatrixCode won't work even if there is a slight quality-loss in the image.
  • Currently it does not work for Unicode chars.
I have an example output attached in this post. Just press Decrypt and browse the image.

You can basically hide a Text in a Picture.

No it's not like that. There is no Text in the image. It is a real PNG image generated by VB.Net Graphics.

how do you do to decrypt the png text ?

I use alpha channel of the pixels, that's why it can't support Unicode since range of alpha channel is 0-255.

Oh, i've heard some use of the alpha channel but never thinks use it on this way!!!
