I used a Canon T3i with a 100mm Prime Macro Lens (closeups), and an 18-55mm kit lens. (Landscape)
Edit: I now use a t5i with the same lenses.

Damn those look nice, I'm actually gonna use one as my computer background. I'm considering trying out photography, experiencing all of these scenes would be awesome.

I can definitely vouch for it being awesome. I've LOVED traveling to all these places. And that feeling you get when you take a really good picture is just amazing. PM me if you have any questions about where you want to start!

Ontario, CA
Yellowstone/Grand Tetons
I haven't been able to travel much or take too many pictures recently sadly. School takes up so much of my time. -.- But I will definitely try to start and get back into it again.

If you're going to do stuff like that, I would definitely go with GoPro.

They're known for their sports photography and recordings. They mount to almost anything and are the most durable HD cameras you can find.
Now if you're risky and you think you'll take care of your camera, and you want something kind of small that you can hold and a camera that you can use for other things, I recommend the Canon T3i - T5i -- Any model works. They're a great starter camera, and they took the pictures that I have posted here. PM me if you have any more questions! And thank you all for the great comments guys! Stuff like this inspires me

P.S.S. Should I make a "Photography 101 - Get to know your camera." tutorial for everyone? Because I don't want to make one and nobody use it. :pinch:
