SL Now Has SSL - Oni - 02-28-2014 SL Now Has SSL
TL;DR: You are being forced to use SSL now. Enjoy the https:// yumminess! One of the changes I've been planning on adding is SSL. After wasting a bunch of time dealing with naughty plugins and such, I got it working. Out with the crummy http:// badness, in with the yummy https:// goodness! Have a great day! If you have any questions or concerns, message me or post below. RE: SL Now Has SSL - BlueScreen - 02-28-2014 But. But I like the NSA. They're not mean like the Norwegian feds. Wai u gotta be liek dat? RE: SL Now Has SSL - Eclipse - 02-28-2014 Yeey! Now the pedophiles and general law breakers are safe!!! Seriously though, thanks Oni! This is a great addition to SL! RE: SL Now Has SSL - BreShiE - 02-28-2014 Glad you added this. I hope it was what I told you that gave you the big insperation to do this. :3 But yeah, MyBB by default sends login details over HTTP in plain text, HTTPS sends it encrypted. This is a great addition.
RE: SL Now Has SSL - lux - 02-28-2014 Not only are we more secure. I can bypass the school block by using https://. Thanks Onibub. RE: SL Now Has SSL - Customer - 02-28-2014 I have no clue what this even remotely means, but hey! It's good for everyone else, then I'm happy! RE: SL Now Has SSL - Equinox - 02-28-2014 I noticed this yesterday, I was like "the fuck?". RE: SL Now Has SSL - Cressi - 02-28-2014 Awesome change; thanks for the update ^^ Spoiler:
