Changes Needed - Adorapuff - 01-07-2014
SL has a beautiful theme currently, but its been like this for a while. I really think we need a theme change to something more dynamic along with a color scheme change. Also, I think we need the current Announcement Bar changed to something more recent and we also need new icons next to the subforums.
Also, we have really drifted away from a "hack" forum which I agree is okay, but the security section has gone to shit. There is no new content, no good tutorials, same thing with coding. We get the occasional person asking for help and that's it. I don't know what needs to be done about this, but something does need to happen.
I've also noticed a good amount of LQ users that take too long to get banned like ProTech who still isn't banned. Oni, your in college and its hard for you to be able to manage SL on your own. Its growing and you've heard this a thousand, but you need staff. Vox just isn't enough. Your a "Big Board Owner" with two staff members including yourself. I really think you should recruit some probational mods.

I would like the option to choose another one, but I'm kinda new here (Merged from DZ and Chitr) and I like the theme A LOT

You've made some good points. I agree with everything you've said but the theme change. Users generally don't like something that they're used to, changed to something they're not. Plus, I love this theme.

The theme is good... though hard to view on low brightnesses...
maybe make the dark grey a bit lighter?
Also, I think the security and other sections are too hidden... make a section for them on the main page
oni would need another mod. I vouch Feat or some other of the high-rep high-posts people

I don't agree about a theme change. The current theme just looks very sexy. Although I have to agree about the staff part along with the forum getting far from a "hack" forum, but Oni can't do anything about that. It's up to us members to make hacking tutorials to spark more discussions. If only I have more knowledge about hacking. I can see a few great members got banned which could've helped about that security forum thing, but Oni can't do much about them. They broke the rules and got given 2nd chances but some of them decided to be a troll and got banned permanently. I'm sory if I'm not explaining well but I'm on mobile.

You'd suck at staff, just saying. You're far too immature for the job and probably would use it in personal vendettas.

OT: The theme is probably still one of the best, whilst I have seen better, I doubt Oni would get one better than the current one, unless he made this one purple.
