Buying a new computer - Skill - 11-12-2013 I was wondering if anyone could give me a build for a new desktop what i should buy and all that jazz. I have no idea what im dealing with but I want to build my own. if you could post links to everything I need, I only want to spend 600$- 750$. Thanks. RE: Buying a new computer - Eclipse - 11-12-2013 Just go to pcpartpicker.com Pick your parts for your budget, order them, then watch some vids on youtube. If you really have no idea what you're dealing with, you can always go to cyberpowerpc.com pcpartpicker --> Allows you to pick your parts and sees if there are any compatibility issues. It also tells you the price, and gives you links to suppliers. cyberpowerpc --> Gives you lots of (awesome) desktops that you have the freedom to customize. Once you have done so, they build it and send you it. RE: Buying a new computer - cr33pyguy - 11-12-2013 You can build a entry-level gaming PC for 700 $... Just check AMD Athlon and phenoms... and cheap Nvidia cards (Gt 630, etc.) RE: Buying a new computer - Nyx - 11-12-2013 (11-12-2013, 04:32 PM)cr33pyguy Wrote: You can build a entry-level gaming PC for 700 $... Oh god, please don't ever suggest a GT 630 ever. That is way behind man, probably would have issues running Minecraft with that shit. But in seriousness, invest in a good, sturdy, metal case. Corsair are worth checking out. (although sometimes pricey) RE: Buying a new computer - Nyx - 11-13-2013 (11-13-2013, 01:49 AM)Lux Wrote: Would you like some Play Doh' with your plastic case? I prefer CoolerMaster Cases, but the prices can run very high. I got my HAF 932 Advanced for like 150$ off of NewEgg though. |
