An investigation was launched by the Toronto Police Service’s Child & Youth Advocacy Centre. As a result of their investigation, 33-year-old Toronto resident Ruby Eby was arrested on June 8, police said.

She is charged with sexual interference with a person under the age of 16 and sexual assault. Ruby Eby is set to appear in a Toronto courtroom on July 21.

Investigators believe there may be other victims.

There definitely needs to be different levels of severity, based on the age gap and what was actually done. I don't think Drake Bell is comparable to this guy. Text messages to someone that is 15 is wrong, but I don't think he deserves a 20 year sentence. Many states the age of consent is 16, and at 15 I'd argue most people have an idea of what they are/aren't attracted to. The "woman" in this article, should probably stay locked up for life.
