Impact of Covid on Education - Caesal - 06-18-2021 Covid has had a devastating impact on education. When schools closed down due to the pandemic, students were a happy lot, enjoying an early vacation. The final exams have been cancelled in many countries consecutively for the past two years. Many of them have lost interest in studies and are dropping out of school. College students are missing out on so much fun they could have had otherwise. RE: Impact of Covid on Education - Boudica - 06-18-2021 There's bigger impacts too. Curriculum gets updated every year, but schools are having a nightmare just trying to give students the usual curriculum. Funding for universities is restricted, potentially impacting courses, staff salaries and ultimately the student experience. There's also issue with suppliers for schools. In addition, how do further education programs qualify students for admissions if they aren't being measured on the same metrics as previous years. There's challenges all round. Completely agree with you. Fresh graduates lose job opportunities. Hope everything normalizes soon and the future generations do not have to endear this kind of hardships. RE: Impact of Covid on Education - mothered - 06-18-2021 In terms of the virus Itself, unfortunately, It's here to stay. As with the flu, It will eventually be a matter of getting an Injection every year. Things have a way of balancing out again over time. We recovered after WWII. We will recover after this. RE: Impact of Covid on Education - Feat - 06-19-2021 As someone who was still a student during this time, I actually had a very pleasant time with the switch to online schooling. Entirely the case for me as well. Having completed 75%+ of my degree on-campus, it was very relaxing to have classes moved online. At the end of the degree there was a massive conference with judges scheduled. This ended up being changed to a presentation on Zoom, which was much less nerve-wracking. With the pandemic, people are more aware that tasks can be done online, rather than physically. RE: Impact of Covid on Education - Bluelemon - 06-20-2021 I am naturally worried about the education process during these times. I believe students are being subjected to more stress because of online education. Quality wise I am not sure if students are up to the mark compared to offline classes in colleges. RE: Impact of Covid on Education - Jeopar - 06-22-2021 Definitely, students, parents, and teachers are all equally a under lot of stress due to the pandemic but this too shall pass. RE: Impact of Covid on Education - Zechariah Adams - 06-23-2021 A lot of people are accustomed to online learning and students are comfortable with this format of study. For me, this format is inherently also convenient, since I can just be at home and study. But there is a lack of live communication with both friends and teachers. I need to write an annotated bibliography. I cannot contact an offline teacher, which is most effective for me, so I turned to the annotated bibliography writing service [link redacted], which will help me write this type of academic assignment. |
