You can't go wrong with X-Slayer and xRisky's tools- they serve their purpose very well Indeed.
Be sure to run these In a controlled environment- VM, Sandboxie, RDP or Deep Freeze.

In answer to your question, a well-configured VM running on respectable/the latest hardware, will operate with minimal difference to Its host OS.

In this case be careful! In every folder is an .exe that is crypted (almost same files in every folder only other filenames and process in the backgrounds)
