Shredding on a Shamisen? - Jiggly - 02-08-2021
I was browsing youtube and other sites for new music to listen to, and realised I hadn't really tried any Japanese bands. I stumbled across this very interesting band that mixes modern instruments with traditional Japanese instruments and music. Then, part way through this song, I saw a woman shredding on a shamisen. Only in Japan...

This sounds like it would be a great soundtrack for anime (or even a video game for hyping). Though it would be a shame to only use audio seeing how much effort they had put into scenography

This sounds like it would be a great soundtrack for anime (or even a video game for hyping). Though it would be a shame to only use audio seeing how much effort they had put into scenography
I completely agree actually. I'd actually love to go to a concert. The visual side is also very much a part of their performance.
I wonder if any of their songs are in an anime..

Great Idea, trying to Fuse the Traditional Music with Modern Music. Could picture my self listening to their music in an anime's opening soon. Congratulations in bringing traditional instruments main stream. And it was a rocking performance.
