How Important Is Sex in a Relationship? - Twenty-Two - 01-02-2021 I recently came across an article on how people have successful marriages that do not involve sex. Sexual compatibility is more paramount than the act itself. If the pair of you are consummately incompatible in terms of your desires/libido/kinks, etc. then it is not going to work out. If you are mostly kindred, and are inclined to communicate openly and felicitously with each other, then the relationship is far more liable to work. What do you guys think - how important is sex in a relationship? I think that sounds about right. But I'd argue you could expand that to any part of a relationship. If the perceived giving/taking balance is there, and communication is good, it'll be fine. Everyone's relationship and their needs in a relationship are different. There's no one size fits all. On the other hand, my best friend Is quite the opposite. There Is no right or wrong, each to their own. RE: How Important Is Sex in a Relationship? - Oni - 01-03-2021 If your partner is selfish and you're not getting what you want out of your relationship, then that will probably manifest itself in different ways. I'd argue sex has less of an impact on a relationship, than a poor dynamic does. Some people aren't very sexual, whereas others are perpetually horny. Certain couples simply aren't compatible (based on their needs) and nobody wants to be in a non-reciprocal relationship. If you're conveying your needs to your partner and they don't respect them, then that's a much bigger issue than the sex itself. RE: How Important Is Sex in a Relationship? - Mr.Kurd - 01-03-2021 I think relationships based on needs and give/get balance. Sex is also one of needs that could be accomplished by marrage(Eastern culture and riligion rules) and relationships. Another thing, Both parties should really understand that for everything you have to pay even while writing this post I'm paying using my time balance same for relationship it is not easy and you will have to pay which is not seen nowadays. They will only stay for a couple of months and can't handle all these fees. Cinema also play a very important role. In movies they will show you only a few sides in relationships and not the reality. I mean when you start your relationsip based on the fantacy life in movies and waiting everyday your partner coming back home smiling and with a flower? 100% you will get shocked that this is not the reality (01-03-2021, 02:53 AM)Oni Wrote: Some people aren't very sexual, whereas others are perpetually horny. According to the Quran, a man may have up to four legal wives only if there is a fear of being unjust to non-married orphan girls. Even then, the husband is required to treat all wives equally. I think this is kinda helpful in many ways, A horny man especially if he was rich he will not go behind sex/porn if he had more wives. You know even for intercourse you have limits. As Male/Female rate is around 1/8 this also another beinfit which reduce the un-marrid girls rate. so they are no longer away of a normal relationship RE: How Important Is Sex in a Relationship? - Demirbx - 01-03-2021 Sex is not necessary, but it is fun and make the couple feel that their bond is stronger when they had sex, sooo... Idk actually it changes from couple to coupl.e RE: How Important Is Sex in a Relationship? - Miamoo - 08-02-2021 A relationship can never be based on one factor alone. One important thing for lasting relationship is understanding. Both partners should be equally responsible and understanding in all matters. Irrespective of problems in life there should be commitment in their relationship. They should be able to share their body, mind, and soul in a progressive way. And yes, lasting relationship is also based on compatibility between the partners. Keeping four happy would be the equivalent of hell. Happiness really depends on accepting reality for what it is and choosing partner based on logic. For real, a huge gap between a rich man and poor girl or vice versa can make relationships issues in future. They might be able to assume the financial burdens of four women, but not the emotional burdens. The women might be well clothed/fed, but it sounds like a lonely life. Then again, many men dream of having some sort of harem. |
