How are you celebrating Easter? - Jiggly - 04-12-2020 When in my home country, I would normally have a Sunday roast with my immediate family and grandparents for Easter. However, due to the semi-lockdown, our usual plans aren't going ahead. I believe it is going to be a regular day, with bacon sandwiches and some chocolate Easter eggs throughout the day, while we enjoy another day staying at home. How will you be celebrating this Easter? Do you normally celebrate Easter? RE: How are you celebrating Easter? - mothered - 04-12-2020 Each year I spend Easter with the most Important people In my life- family. Today being Easter Sunday, we had a nice lunch, followed by a relaxing time together for a few hours. I'm now back In my computing environment, oblivious to anyone who tries to Intervene. RE: How are you celebrating Easter? - Oni - 04-12-2020 Probably eating dinner with immediate family, then back to quarantine. RE: How are you celebrating Easter? - Jiggly - 04-13-2020 We had some gorgeous weather - which caused my allergies to flip out all day. It was a good Easter Sunday, despite the allergies. The government In my country, has advised against going out during the Easter period, and to celebrate It by simply staying at home. If living alone, It's pretty difficult to celebrate on your own. Though, I can see their point. Easter Is a very busy time of year and the last thing anyone needs, Is for the virus to escalate. You'd feel pretty terrible if you caused the virus to spread through your family members, just because you wanted your usual Easter celebrations. Though, I am especially thankful this did not hit Pandemic status last Christmas. It would have been a huge challenge to make people social distance and isolate. RE: How are you celebrating Easter? - Drako - 04-13-2020 The weather wasn't perfect, but my immediate family and I were able to cook somewhat. Just waiting for this to all end really. RE: How are you celebrating Easter? - Blue - 04-14-2020 A couple days late, but I spent Easter with the homies because he's birthday was the day before, so I chilled with friends families and ate, and just hung out. No quarantine for me bc I am a piece of shit. Most my family didn't meet up because of the quarantine. I'm glad you had a good time, although, be careful. I'm forget which nation you're in, but that's grounds for massive fines and arrests in some countries. I wouldn't do it again if I were you. |
