Site Icons Not Loading? - Universality - 01-17-2020

Hi, for some reason the section icons and other icons on this site don't load correctly for me, it just displays the name of the icon instead of the actual icon. Does anyone know how to fix this? https://i.imgur.com/3NYVjnU.png

I think it's because of my firefox extensions or config. List of my extensions: https://i.imgur.com/Kh1fgN8.png and I'm using the ownyourbits user.js config template.

All help appreciated

Sometimes this happens to me if I'm using data and have bad signal.

Turning on a vpn usually always solves it for me.

I've experienced the same but only short-lived. They resolve within a few seconds.

It usually happens when I have a lot of tasks actively running, Inclusive of multiple browser sessions. Stating the obvious, have you tried another browser In It's default state?

No, it is not your ectenstions. Looks like bad signal or problem with your loading.

What if you refresh the page? also you can check the browser console to see if there is an error or something.

I don't see any extensions that should cause problems, but I'm not familiar them all.

Let me know if this link loads for you:
https://fonts.googleapis.com/icon?family=Material+Icons

Yeah, the icons load fine on edge and my VPN doesn't seem to affect the loading at all.

The link downloads a .css file on edge but on firefox, it displays text:
Code:
/* fallback */ @font-face { font-family: 'Material Icons'; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400; src: url(https://fonts.gstatic.com/s/materialicons/v48/flUhRq6tzZclQEJ-Vdg-IuiaDsNc.woff2) format('woff2'); } .material-icons { font-family: 'Material Icons'; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; font-size: 24px; line-height: 1; letter-spacing: normal; text-transform: none; display: inline-block; white-space: nowrap; word-wrap: normal; direction: ltr; -moz-font-feature-settings: 'liga'; -moz-osx-font-smoothing: grayscale; }

Have you tired clearing browser data? Seems like a client-side issue.

I did and nothing changed. I checked the console and there appears to be some errors. I'm not an avid web developer or anything so you could probably make more sense of it than I could lol: https://i.imgur.com/Uic6oMK.png

Have you tried rebooting your system, with "only Firefox" executed? Ram Is volatile, so everything will be cleared on reboot.

I'm just trying to establish whether there are background applications that're resource-hungry, thereby affecting loading times/display.

Have you tried loading the site with your extensions disabled? Screenshot doesn't indicate anything about the header icons themselves.
