Moral Question: Be Honest, Would You? - Refusal - 08-23-2019
A question for all my real ones out there.
So say you bought something from another user on here for like $1,500 USD, & you have learned that the user passed away the next day. Would you chargeback on that user. Be real! Ive asked this question before and ive always been intrigued by some of the answers.

No I wouldn't,that's just not acceptable for me. I paid for something that I got even if the user passed away I wouldn't chargeback.

It's not as though the user will be around to experience It.
Provided It does not have a negative Impact on the user's finances and family/next of kin In any way, shape or form, then I don't see any harm In doing so.

I got something in exchange of money so no. I was okay with paying that money for it and should be even after this. Death of a person has nothing to do with this dilemma in my eyes.

Yea i randomly thought of this question because I did a deal with another user offsite for $1000
and that user ended up getting banned for scamming like a month later for $600. I had thought about getting my money back as it would have been really
easy, and send the money he scammed to the person. but in the end i decided to stay out of it since it was a deal that had nothing to do with me.

When someone dies, their assets generally go to their family. You could potentially be stealing from them, though it's possible a Paypal account would go unnoticed.

Depends on how flexible your morals are, i mean how can you confirm the person has really passed away, and if they needed this money well his spouse/husband might need it too.
If you planned spending it well don't charge back.
If you don't care about your fellow humans, well charge back.
Simple as that.
i wouldn't do it.

Unfortunately, a legal will can be contested by those who're not part of the Immediate family.
It's wrong, and defeats the purpose of having a will to begin with.

I know if I died nobody in my family would even know that I had a paypal. So they would not even know to look there.
