I don't even run Arch Linux.

I want to change OS's, but my computer came pre-installed with Windows 8.

At my local PC shop, a guy told me you can't change OS's because BIOS settings.

How would one go about dual-booting Arch anyways?

EDIT: Thank you for the offer, by the way. If I could figure out how to D-B Arch I will take you up on that offer.

I believe all you have to do is make a partition and install from a disk.
