Why would you want to be a Staff member? - Nyx - 08-10-2013
Now I have a question for the community. Why do you guys want to be Staff here? I can understand helping the community and keeping it High Quality, but that is a lot of effort, reading just about every post made in a certain section for like 4-5 hours straight? I'd like to know what makes you guys want to be a Staff member, as I honestly can't see a point other then keeping it high quality, but that is a lot of effort to make the site look nice... Anyways, hopefully I get a couple answers!

Well as you said, keeping the community HQ. Besides most of us read all the posts everywhere for more then 5 hours a day.

Hmm, I just think it would be a pile of work deleting every post that doesn't meet requirements, and dealing with people who have issues such as rep. I personally know I couldn't handle a work load like that...

Well when you love the community so much it doesn't feel like work, it feels like pride. At least that's how I think it would be.

I want to become a moderator simply because I love Sinisterly.
Being here I have gained friends and knowledge. I was able to do so because the forum was(Still is) well moderated.
So if I could help keep the forum cleaned up and looking good why wouldn't I?
Also, I browse this forum for over 6 hours a day, I could handle the workload. :p

I can spend up to 15 hours a day on here, I have literally no life, but I can't see flipping through posts making sure they are high quality enough would just suck major ass. But I guess I can see your reasoning.

Some people see that they don't need anything in return to help out. I was staff at many places, never got paid a cent, but did it because I wanted to. Everyone sees things differently.
