Redeem points to cash - hacxx - 10-14-2018
For those of you that don't know already, the Sinister.ly points system is called NSP. You make NSP when you make a new Thread or a new Post. So, if you post alot you will see your NSP increase and it will be possible to redeem in awards. This system was developed by Pirata Nervo for MyBB and some plugins/scripts have been released but they are paid. One of them is the possibility to withdraw points into cash, this will be usefull to increase the number of active users by giving some cash back to them. It will be cool to have this system implemented here in the forum. With just $500 as a budget and a dispersion of $0.20 per user will really increase the users base and content around here.

If anything, that'll just increase the spam posts which have no value to the relative thread. Cool idea but not in favour

This just seems like a way to bring spammed to the board. I actually like this site compared to others, people are nice and helpful. Smaller community is fine and slow growth is still better than decline.

As stated before, this would exponentially increase spam. I'm pretty sure accepting NSP in the marketplace is allowed though as long as it isn't cash transfers. If anyone is really an award whore they could feel free to open a shop that accepts it giving a bit more incentive.

In my view, the points system Is structured and functioning fine as Is. Buying/selling points Is not permitted and I believe It should remain that way In every form.
Implementing a feature allowing NSP to be directly exchanged for cash payments, will Increase the overhead already experienced by the board's administration. Moreover and as per the aforementioned posts, we'll certainly experience a consistent Influx of spam that will be very difficult to monitor.
