Java - Nutany - 10-01-2018

Hey guys, as I now have IT as a subject in school and I know that we will start with java, would any of you mind giving me some helpful tutorials/sites *Note I don't know anything about coding*

There is nothing better than online resources for this. Check code academy out:

https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-java

Also YouTube should have plenty of starter tutorials.

So I'd recommend go through these and then start messing with your example codes a bit. See what you could do differently, what extras you can add, and then eventually come up with your own ideas and start trying to implement them. Ofcourse this will be a lot of googling, but we all go through that daily Smile

Hope this helps, and good luck with your studies!

I found a new free course of Java - Codegym. https://codegym.cc/quests Learning is interactive, interesting and understandable for beginners. Also there is a large community of students who can help you!

In terms of a video tutorial, this covers the basics which Is a good starting point for someone without prior knowledge. It's around 90 minutes and Is very well (visually) presented and narrated.

Look up "The New Boston" on YouTube. When I first started programming Bucky was a pretty good resource.

Given It's been 3 months since your request, have you found the resources you're after?

I got to admit, I haven't looked into anything yet, we haven't had it in school yet, so I didn't feel the need to. I'm lazy sometimes.

All good.

I just wanted to see where you're at, and whether you require assistance.
