So, recently a really close friend of mine introduced me to a band called "Panic! At The Disco" and they are now my favorite band, I legit have a playlist of like 19-20 of their songs on loop.
Brendon Urie is their lead singer, and he has a 6 octave vocal range, his voice is absolutely beautiful live.

What's your favorite band or artist?
I like any band relative to heavy metal/hard rock.

Just to name a few- AC/DC, Kiss, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Def Leppard, Motley Crue.
Mine has been Sticky fingers for quite some time now, love the pleasant vibe they bring.
Probably Ozzy, Motorhead, Santana, Eric Clapton, or The Doors. Preference tends to change every now and then.
Queens of the Stone Age, they've been on and off my favorite band for years, always in my top five.
I've been getting into Paramore, Panic! At The Disco and I listen to a lot of Twenty One Pilots, have been for a long time.
It really depends on the situation for what I want to listen to but here's the ones that come to mind right now when I think of favorites:
  • The Black Keys
  • David Bowie
  • Nine Inch Nails
  • Dream Theater
  • Benny Goodman
  • Dave Brubeck
So yeah, a big mixup of alternative, pop, industrial, progressive, and swing jazz.

Although not on my list of (priority) favorites, I thought I was one of the very few with a liking for David Bowie.

I grew up In the era when he was at his peak.
2018 and you're just now listening to panic at the disco? lol. I don't think I've heard anything by them in at least 4-5 years. No judgement, just surprised.

My favorite band right now would be Kings of leon. Something about their vibe is just soothing to me. Parkway drive would be next though (and probably my actual favorite). I listen to everything though and my playlists are all messes. Everything from country to rap, metal to electronic, new and old. I can appreciate talent in all shapes and forms.
